Emergency Shelter Assessment Committee

The Emergency Shelter Assessment Committee Meetings typically take place on the third Thursday of the month.

The committee presents monthly statistics in all the shelters and hotels and any events providing services to the homeless. There are also regular updates on State and Federal regulations affecting the homeless

This is a monthly committee meeting with leaders throughout the community that work with the homeless. Members include CHOM (Community Housing of Maine), Shalom, United Way, Amistat, Milestone Shelter, City of Portland Adult and Family shelters, Homeless Voices for Justice, and the SMLA.
