THE RHA FOUNDATION

Through the work of our Social Action Committee, our goal is to bring housing providers together in support of our community and bring awareness to the public of all the ways that the RHA and our members give back.

The RHA Foundation supports local organizations that address issues of housing insecurity - partnering with groups and causes for philanthropic events, fundraising initiatives, general outreach and awareness, education and advocacy, and more. The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for underprivileged members of the community and to strengthen southern Maine’s housing opportunities now and for generations to come.

The RHA Foundation is thrilled to introduce the 2023 RHA Awards! Created by the RHA Foundation, the RHA Awards recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate exceptional contributions and outstanding service within our industry.

The categories include:

  • Community Partner of the Year: Nominations are now closed for Community Partner of the Year. Honors an organization that is making a difference within our local housing community.
  • Advocate of the Year: Nominations are set to open Spring 2023 for Advocate of the Year. Honors an individual who has gone above and beyond in their efforts to advocate for the rental housing industry.
